Ronnie Baird is Chairman. A chartered accountant, Ronnie has 30 years’ experience in Financial Services. He worked in a number of senior roles for Lloyds Bank, was a special adviser to the Governor of the Bank of England, a founding director of the FSA and senior independent non executive director of Egg plc.

Peter Smith is a Non Executive Director. Peter is a solicitor and was a Partner of CMS Cameron McKenna LLP (and its predecessor firms) from 1987 until he retired in 2011. Since qualifying he practised as a corporate lawyer specialising in MXA, corporate finance and advice on corporate governance.

Paul Mills is a Non Executive Director. A chartered accountant, Paul has over 25 years' experience in financial services, with a strong focus on governance, risk and audit. He held a number of senior roles at Britannia Building Society, and he is presently Executive Director at Reclaim Fund Ltd.

Takeshi Irie is a Non Executive Director and is a representative on the board of SBI Holdings Inc the majority shareholders in Portillion. Takeshi has considerable banking experience and is also a director of SBIH UK Ltd.

Gerald Gregory is Chief Executive Officer. Gerald was previously a main Board Director of Britannia Building Society. He held various senior management positions with the Society including Treasurer, Head of Lending, Director of Mutuality and Marketing and finally MD, Capital Investment Group. In this latter role Gerald was Chairman of all the Society’s subsidiary businesses.

David Hill is Chief Financial Officer. A chartered accountant, David has over 25 years’ financial services experience with insurance companies and building societies, and was appointed CFO of Stroud & Swindon Building Society in 2000, subsequently becoming its CEO until 2009.

David Kindred is Chief Risk Officer. David has over 20 years’ experience as a risk professional, having previously been Head of Decision Sciences at Lloyds Banking Group, with further risk experience gained at Nationwide Building Society, Abbey National, Equifax and Barclaycard.

Roger Brown is Sales and Marketing Director. Roger has over 35 years’ experience in financial services in various senior sales roles. Most recently he was Director of Distribution at GMAC-RFC UK, but previously held positions at Nationwide and HMC.
